Handgun And Safety Course
6 hour training course of ninety ($90.00) dollars
Targets and range cost are not inclued in the course cost. Targets two ($2.00) dollars per target, Range cost twenty ($20.00) dollars (Grand Rapids), Ammunition cost varies.
2. Students are to be on time and will train in full uniform, bring their handgun and all equipment with them to class.
2a) If the student is bringing a semiautomatic handgun, then the student is to bring three (3)
magazines and two hundred (200) rounds of ammunition to class, and a holster. All
ammunition is to remain in the student's vehicle until arrival at the range.
2b) If the student is bringing a revolver to class then the student will bring two (2) speedloaders
and two hundred (200) rounds of ammunition to class, and a holster. All ammunition is to
remain in the student's vehicle until arrival at the range.
3. NO live ammunition will be allowed in the classroom.
4. RENTALS: 9mm Ruger P-89 or P-89DC semiautomatic and Smith & Wesson .38cal revolver handguns are available for rental on a limited first come first serve basis. Students wishing to rent a handgun must notify Jim Owens in advance of the class at 218-326-2506 so a handgun can be reserved. Rental Cost per weapon, fifteen ($15.00) dollars if cleaned by student, twenty ($20.00) dollars if cleaned by instructor. This cost is to be paid in addition to the course cost upon arrival to the training room..
5. Payment will be made infull upon signing the class roster at the beginning of the class. NO student will be allowed to remain in the class if payment is not made infull at this time. Payment maybe made only with a cashiers check, money order or cash. Company checks will be accepted at the begining of the course with prior arrangements made with the Instructor, All Company checks, cashiers checks or money orders are to be made out to Jim Owens. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Additional Travel Expenses; fuel and lodging May Apply For Instructors Traveling To Your Location. (fuel at $.35cents per mile). Accommodations if over night stay is required, will be charged accordingly.
