*The Protect ANWR Petition was established to save the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from the greed in this world.  This petition was founded in order to preserve the pristine environment in ANWR from big business oil companies.  Obviously some individuals and companies want to drill in ANWR for financial reasons.  However, there is more in life than money and we as Americans need to realize the true value of the wild.

*Also, this petition was established in order to inform the American public about environmental issues.  The pro-drilling syndicate wants the harmful effects of drilling in ANWR to seem less harmful to the public.  However, this site is made to inform everyone of the devastating effects of drilling.

*Lastly, this petition was created to make a political and environmental statement.  Even if no one signs the petition, or no one agrees with the opinions expressed on this site, hopefully someone will realize the truth.
