FAQ: Why did you build this site?
I decided to build this site because I feel that there is a need for Americans to stand up for their beliefs. Everyone has their own views but few tend to speak out about serious world issues. I'm really hoping to make a difference with this petition.
What are your personal views about ANWR?
I believe that certain greedy government leaders are trying to destroy our world in order to benefit themselves. ANWR is one of the last remaining refuges that has not been destroyed by big businesses. I think that instead of concentrating on this country's oil and gas "needs", we should concentrate on the future of our planet. Our great great grandchildren may be driving solar powered cars and have no need for oil and gas. However, if we destroy the environment today, tomorrow's children won't be able resuscitate it so easily. I really love this bumpersticker I saw that said: "When the last road is paved, and the last field destroyed...then we will realize you can't eat money."
How can I make a difference?
