Studying Rodin...
A study on two of his bronzes.
A Rodin show once visited Kolkata. I was a kid then. I still remember the huge excitement it generated in this art loving city. The rainy season, (or "monsoon" as it is commonly known) was particularly heavy that year and the street on which the museum(which displayed the exhibits) stood became a regular river after heavy showers. Serpentine queues consisting of thousands of people patiently waited for hours in rain and knee-deep water to catch a glimpse of such eternal favourites as Rodin's "Kiss."
