Other Sketches - updated April '04.This is where I lump together a few assorted sketches I made recently. I have been working with pen and ink, quite an interesting medium because of the unambiguous vigour that one could express with each stroke. There are also a few sketches from a visit to Santiniketan - that famous town where Rabindranath Tagore (it will look stupid if I now set about introducing him to the reader, and could possibly be an insult to the latter) founded his open air university. The sketches tell nothing about that place(in a travel-brochure sense) and are just a few intimate observations in and around the place where I stayed. |
