One of E-slop's Phables
Big Elephant Toes With Peanut Butter
One day a really big, fat,
gray elephant was walking down the road, staring at the sky, for
he was mesmerised by the different patterns they were forming.
Unknowningly, he stepped on a pile of peanuts that was left in
the middle of the road. CRUNCH!!! The elephant lifted his foot
and looked at it dripping with goo. His toenails had become
obscured by the light-coloured, slimy substance. "Aha!"
he said to himself, "Lunch!"
The Moral of This Phable Is:
Distractions can cause
unsightly messes or, on the other hand, lunch.
Alternate Moral:
Don't leave peanuts in the
middle of a road, for they will be squashed.
Alternate Alternative Moral
Accidents can sometimes leave
a rather sticky mess on your feet, which can be bad if you've
just had a pedicure which cost more than half of your paycheck,
thereby rendering that money and effort a wasted bit of energy
that could have been used for better things, such as pruning your
shrubs or raking leaves which wouldn't hold true unless it was
fall, but you can't count on that because some people don't rake
leaves in the fall whereas some people rake leaves all year-round
because they're either unemployed thanks to the American
government or just seriously bored because they have fruitless
minds that must keep exterior objects busy thereby doing away
with the necessity of thinking, like such politicians do but we
won't get into that here because it's the moral of a Phable for goodness' sake and
really a story appropriate for all ages, which would not be
possible if we discussed the so-called-private lives of most any
person in politics and no, I don't mean just Americans here so
BLAH at all those bigots and, I'm talking to you here, I wonder
what you mean by bringing those kind of values to a page whose
worthy cause is to develop and enrich minds with the telling of
honest, truthful stories that will hopefully lead to less drug
addicts, less war, and more peace on earth, whereas your
limitations will only cause the mind to shrivel and decay and
leave the world's youth with less intelligence than our
forefathers (May they rest in peace.) if that's possible, since
I'm not too sure on the whole thing.
The End!
