Kantor has a big impact on society.
It is everyone's question as to what future will be like. "Kantor..." project is about identity of human race in the future as deep ocean and space
colonization.
Or maybe we are from the future, already humanized all over from the beginning
of primitive or any sort of living beings.
Futurology can be a part of our history. History of arts, science and politics
are essential parts of our sense of living and standpoint. My believe is that next step of humanity will be ocean colonization. It's not matter of guesswork but power of ideas and imagination with moral points and ethical of view.
We will take on into ocean colonization as a solution from human extinction as Rex suggests in the storyline of Kantor chapbook. We can't go into ocean only thinking it will give us better and healthier food or power to control waters in case of next World war. Maybe we will not create artificial intelligence (AI). Deep space colonization is very possible. But ocean colonization or underwater cities development is a next big step in history of agriculture and humanities.
Discovery of America or first landing on the Moon is part of humanities. The creative and political impact as well as economical impact of those events had great impact on development and shaping of humanities. It is without question that those and similar events, like atomic bomb use at the end of WWII, were part of humanities as well as created open-minded outlook on arts, science and economics as part of survival, as core of humanity.
No matter where we, we the humans, will be or live, we will always have the same human characteristics. Futurist society will have the same characteristics as Modern society, as humans have always been through ages and times, especially Modern Times.

We will be together... But there will always be indifferent opinions, goals and activities which will differentiate us form each other on different planet and even in case of first underwater city.

Samples of sculptures, images and paintings shown here are examples of symbolic works in Futurism as part of KantorE project.
