ARTHUR PAUL ALEXAKIS

Art was born on April 12, 1962. He grew up in Santa Monica, California. Arthur was a drug addict for a while before quiting after a near-fatal overdose. Before starting Everclear, he moved to San Francisco and joined the band the EazyHoes. He later created Colorfinger, which began as a solo project. While in San Francisco, he also founded the Shindigrecord label. Within a month after the release of Colorfinger's "Deep in the Heart of the Beast in the Sun",the label went bankrupt, and Art's girlfriend, Jenny, became pregnant. He then moved to his girlfriend's hometown of Portland, where he still lives. While there, he married Jenny and had a daughter named Annabella. Four days after she was born, Everclear had its first rehearsal.
