Valarie Bohannon Val is Val... let's leave it at that.
Ellen "the cap'n" Butrym graduated with a business degree at UGA. She was on props from 1997-1999. Ellen is lovable and can do a killer Elephant Seal impersonation (see picture).
Marcello Brown was on Props Crew from about to 1993-1996. He was known for saying "Test tube baby!" He was from Pehlam, Georgia.
Cathy Coker was on props crew for one year in 1999. She joined as a senior, and provided much comic relief.
Brian Clements was on Props Crew for two years (1997-1998). He was always late.
Matt Droms was on Props Crew for two years. He is currentlya member of the UGA drum line. I had to include Matt in this list, because if I didn't, his mom would bitch at me and make me cry. He was on the crew in 1997-1998.
Brooke Johnson was prone to mood swings and a big fat bitch. Wait that was someone else... Brook was a short skinny bitch. Brook, if you're reading this, don't take it too personally :) She is known as "Evil Brooke" to so as not to be confused with Brook Walker.
Heath Jones was the Props Crew Chief before Deron Pardue (who was before Jim). Heath is now a band director in South Carolina. He is also my girlfreind's brother-in-law. Small world, huh. Heath is a responsible adult now, and so probably wants nothing to do with the props crew. He is also the only band captain to be on the Props Crew (to my knowledge anyway.)
Abby Kakritz is from Elko, Georgia (where ever the hell that is). She was on Props for only one year in 1998, but what a year it was. We miss you, Abby.
Tommy Malcom is perhaps the most interesting specimine that's ever been on Props Crew. He was on Props for one year. He asked so many questions that we gave him a "question quota" of five a day. He came up with the phrase "ocean sunset," and was also instrumental in the "Brooke-Gate" debachle. He was on props in 1996. Now Tommy has been elected to the Oconee County school board. Here I am bagging groceries at Publix, and Tommy's an elected official. What is this world coming to?
Jud "Major" McCrary is old school Props. He was on props crew from 1981 to 1988, back when they wore red jump suits and Pesky Gary Teske was the director. He is now a major in the US Army stationed in Germany.
Robin Richards is unique in that he is the only person to go from Props, to marching in the drumline, and then back to Props. Rob (--) has a tendency to be obsessive
(Titanic, Olympics, Victoria), and he also has a tendency to over-dramatize (that
HUGE hill at Tennessee). He was on Props for two years, 1995 and 1997.
Michael T. Sasser was on props for three years; taking a brief hiatus in Ohio in there somewhere. (1996,1998-1999) While at the University, Michael drove a bus and enjoyed saying "Jamaca me Crazy!" He hails from Macon, Georgia.
Rob "Eileen" Snellings was on Props for two years, 1997 and 1998. You could count on Rob ( | ) to throw a tantrum and pout. It is also Rob ( | )'s fault that Props Crew is the bunch of Potty Mouths that it is. By the way, don't ever play Monopoly with him.
Rachel "don't touch me Jad!" Tucker was the best lift-gate operator we ever had. While on Props for two years in 1997-1998, she perfected the art of rolling out the speaker cable box. It is also to be noted that she had a personal-space issue.
Brook Walker is a former math education major from Ft. Oglethorpe. When she isn't complaining about being single, "Brookie the Wookie" enjoys making anything that she can moisten. (Don't ask) Brook was with us two years, 1998-1999.
Liz Williamson, begining in 1996, was on Props for 4 years. She graduated in sociology/psychology from UGA. In her off time, Liz frequently appeared in strip clubs as "Lucious Liz." She drank almost as much coffee as Ali, and sometimes went by the alias "the Nefarious L.I.Z." Liz is now a grad student at the University of Virginia (Wahoo!)
Amy Wolfe was also on props crew for four years begining in 1996, though her last year she was not a student at the university. We let her help because we felt sorry for her and also because it was pre-determined by God. Amy will be in Northern Ireland on a mission trip, (you never realize how many pagan heathens are in that part of the world) which is only fitting because she wrote the Bible. "Amorous Amy" is also abundantly cuddly.
If you were on Props Crew, and would like to be added to this list, send me a short description via e-mail.
