| Greg is confused? So we were at Hollywood and Vine and yes it is so exiting they have a sign there. Actually the sign is really all that is there, but boy do we look totally cool! |

| So Hollywood is full of stars! And a few celebraties as well. We found my other boyfriend. Not Martin, but Capt. Jack Sparrow. Ha Aunt Dee he has his arm around me. |

| We saw the Hollywood Sign! |
| We saw them setting up for the Oscars at the Kodak. The Kodak steps are lined with the names of best picture winners. |
| Greg downtown Hollywood and Highland. If you look real closely behind Greg's head you'll see the Hollywood Sign. |

| We saw a handful of real Oscars that hadn't been labled yet. |

| Then we went to the La Brea Tar Pits. You could see the gas bubble pop up. |
| The official name of the Oscar statuette is the Academy Award of Merit. Made of gold-plated britannium on a black metal base, it is 13.5 in (34 cm) tall, weighs 8.5 lb (3.85 kg) and depicts a knight rendered in Art Deco style holding a crusader's sword standing on a reel of film with five spokes. The five spokes each represent the original branches of the Academy: Actors, Writers, Directors, Producers, and Technicians. |

| The Observatory is located on the southern slope of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park, just above the Los Feliz neighborhood. It is 1,134 feet above sea level and is visible from many parts of the Los Angeles basin. |
