I always loved the Transformers but for some reason I was never really a fan of Optimus like most kids, I loved Megatron. I didn't like how he treated his men, or better yet robots but still, I loved his power. He was feared not only by his enemies but by his friends also. Everyone knew that he was not to be crossed the wrong way, just look what he did to Starscream. He did whatever it took to win, that's how he killed Optimus Prime, he was the best at what he did and he annihilated his competition. I think my favorite part about his fight was that he wasn't fighting for power or anything like that, he was fighting for energon, their equivilent to water. Most villains fight for power and land and things of that sort but Megatron had both, he was just looking for the resources to live. I found it interesting that he was evil simply because he was a Decepticon, he was programmed that way, it wasn't a choice he made. He was just living the life he was created to live and he did it to the fullest. |
