Cobra is the leader of the terrorist organiztion Cobra in G.I. Joe folklore. To most he is just a bad guy behind a mask out to conquer the world, but his story goes deeper. After everything he loved was taken from him by the U.S. government he decided to fight back. He started a terrorist organization and named it Cobra. He is a ruthless villain out to take the world and destroy anyone who tries to stop him. Although he has never succeeded, the government had to put together an entire army dedicated to stopping just him. He was my first ever GI Joe figure, one of my friends had him and I thought he looked so cool, so I had to buy him. It was the figure where he is in his silver battle armor and I bought him on a trip my family had taken to Pennysalvania, I still remember when I found the figure in a pharmacy there. He is one of my favorite characters of all time and I still buy Cobra Commander figures when they come, but only the cool looking ones. |
