I never actually read any of the Lord Of The Rings so I don't know what Aragorn from the novels is like, but I have loved the movies since I saw the first trailer for Fellowship. Vigo Mortensen's portrayal of Aragorn has inspired me to become a better person myself. People who know me all say that Aragorn 'is' me, I relate to his character so much becuase he is a lot like me in many ways. Seeing him made me remember why I do what I do and put me back in touch with myself again. his character is not something you can explain but rather somehting you have to see for yourself. I believe everyone needs a hero or at least someone to look up to, something to aspire to be. Regardless of what people already think of me, I hope to someday be a real life "Aragorn". |
