Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
How do you know what things that God has that He can give to you and your family such as Knowledge, Wisdom, or Healing for example, unless you spend time with one another? Sitting in a pew side by side on Sunday won�t do it!
You should see the contention here. If you have been taught through traditional ideas that �IT�S JUST THE PRIEST OR PREACHER� that can hear God, then you are missing the blessing of God, BY using �what� He, Himself, has given you (a gift) to give to loved ones in need.

But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as He will.
Here is the truth. Yes, there are gifted men and women, but their work is not only to affirm the Word of God to you, but they are also to take time to confirm the Word of God coming from you being shared as a Gift from God, �TO EVERY MAN SEVERALLY AS HE WILLS�.
Note the word �SEVERALLY�� it means something pertaining to yourself, or your own private explanation of what has been given to you. Severally means Idios in the Greek.

In summation, Satan doesn�t mind your going to Church. He pays little attention to what Preachers, Pastors or Priests are teaching, but the one thing he does not want you to do is to share your heart� loving words or �Gifts� that will bring an encouragement to other Christians, not to mention those who do not believe in God.
In conclusion, if you as a leader of a home, fellowship, or church are not given to taking time to sit down to listen or you are one who never shares what you have on your heart (having found something �IN YOUR HEART or SPIRIT,� that you believe the Holy Spirit has put there)� then you are living in �UNBELIEF�! or you are fearful of saying the wrong thing. Guess what... if you are, so will your children!
