Yeltra stalks into the foyer of the KoP Fraternity and, instead of hanging his cloak as is normally the case, slings it towards the hangers. The cloak simply strikes the wall and falls harmlessly to the floor. Valesk happened to be walking past and stopped in the doorway. 'Yeltra, hate to say it buddy but you don't look like you having a good day.' he remarked. Yeltra simply shook his head. 'That stupid begger that is always hanging around Floyd's place better be glad that city guard was there or they might have found his corpse where he normally sits.' Valesk moves inside the doorway and motions to two chairs sitting off to the side. 'Your talking murder there Yeltra you might want to tell me what happened before Grekan or Traxel gets wind of of it. You know they frown on stuff like senseless murder.' Yeltra nods and slumps into one of the two chairs. 'Hope you got a few minutes.' He takes a breath waiting and hoping for a way out but Valesk remains silent so Yeltra begins softly. 'I know this is not going to seem like much. Certainly not worth killing a poor begger over, although I really was tempted. See I was supposed to meet with Alisaha a little while ago, maybe an hour but not longer than that.' Yeltra noticed the confused look that crossed Valesk's face so quickly clarified. 'She is a girl I met about a week ago. She was always hanging out at the west gate of Sendar and I had
noticed her a few times but finally got up enough nerve to speak to her. Well anyway, we set up a time to meet again and that was today. I wanted to do it earlier but Traxel had me working on my ability to use acid more effectantly. Regardless, we had set up to meet today. Well, I showed up at the gate but she did not. After waiting about ten minutes I started asking the guards if they had seen her but they only shook there head. I should have known they would not... do you know how many people passed thru that gate in those ten minutes?' Yeltra stopped talking for a moment to make sure that Valesk was still listening and not looking at him like he was completely crazy. There was a faint smile on Valesk's face but beyond that Yeltra could not tell if it was humor or if Valesk could simply relate. After a moment to organize his thoughts, Yeltra continued. 'The begger I wanted to kill just happened to over hear me and offers to take me to her house if I would give him a piece of gold or two. Of course I gave him only one piece but he still agreed to take me. Two minutes later I was knocking on her apartment door. The lady that opened the door resembled Alisaha but was about 25 years older than her. Turns out the lady was Alisaha's mother. I introduced myself and was completely unprepared for what was waiting for me.' Yeltra actually managed a chuckle as he remembers this part of the events of the day. His mood was actually lightening as he told his story. Apparently in the telling he was gaining a better perspective of his reaction. Anyway, the moment I told her who I was she started yelling and making these crazy charges. Would you believe she actually accused me of giving her daughter 'experiance'?!? I had only meet her a week ago. She apparently doesn't give her daughter enough credit to say "no". It took me a while to get her calmed down and then a little longer to get the story out of her. It appears that a few nights ago Alisaha and her mother had a fight which ended when Alisaha stormed out.' At this point Valesk interrupted the story. 'But what does this have to do with the Begger? Yeltra lifts his head and looked up at Valesk. 'I know it has taken me a while to get to this point but here is why I wanted to kill that begger. I got her mother calmed down and promised I would try to find Alisaha, she has not been home since that fight. I got down to the begger but before I could say anything he looked at me and asked if Alisaha had returned home yet. Of course I was furious. I demanded to know how he knew she was not home and that is when he informed me that he had seen her go. Said she was running down the alley and simply changed into an owl and flew off to the west. My anger was boiling at this point and I raised my hand to strike. Two things happened almost at the same point. The first was the guard happened to turn the corner and the begger told me he might have seen her the other day. I dropped the begger and then tossed a single rose to him. Told him it would be in his best interest to get that to her the next time he saw or even thought he saw her.' At this point Valesk started laughing. 'You know Yeltra, if you ever come in here acting like that again I might have to do to you what you threatened that begger. Especially if it is only about a girl that left home... Now I know why Traxel and Grekan wanted me to keep an eye on you. You are crazy.' With a chuckle from Valesk and a sigh from Yeltra they both stood and headed there seperate way. Valesk for his room and Yeltra back to Sendar to begin searching for Alisaha himself.
