Walking in the Light I was in intercessory prayer when I recieved this vision. I know that it refers to a specific purpose for myself, but it was also given to me to share for the whole body of Christ to live by. In this vision I saw the world. It was covered in a dark cloud with rain falling continually. Heavy in some areas, lighter in others. I looked over to my left and I saw a man walking in the storms, but he was walking in a ray of light. Then I saw in front of me a woman on her knees in prayer, surrounded by light. And as she prayed, the light around her grew larger, spreading the light to others walking among the storms.
Then to my right, I saw a person reaching out to someone walking in the storms. As they did this, they drew that person into the light also. Now in these storms were lightening. Heat lightening, down from the clouds lightening, and lightening that strikes the ground. This is punishment from God for those walking in the storms. Heat lightening to give signs of trouble, down from the clouds lightening to warn the people, and lightening that strikes to punish those walking in the storms. Now those who are walking in the light are protected from the storms and rain, but occassionally the rain will try to penetrate the light and touch those walking in it. However when the rain touches those walking in the light, it dries up quickly and
shows no sign of ever being wet. Of those who are walking in the storms and were touched by the light, many will stay there in the light. But there will be others who will turn back away, frightened of what the light exposed, and go back into the storms. But for those who choose to stay, they too will walk in the light. For the ones who go back into the storms, they were scared of the light because they are not used to it's warmth. They will go back and look for warmth from each other, never really finding it.Now the storms and rain represent the ways of the world. The light sybolizes Christ. When we walk in the light, we are really walking in the light of God's Son. It represents us as christians. When we walk in the light, we are bringing God and Christ into the world. But when we reach out to other in prayer and ministry, we allow God to work here on the earth and in the lives of those walking in the ways of the world. We must continually reach out to others and share the light of God with others. The more that people are exposed to the light, the more chances they have to turn towards it. Let us always be a beacon of God's light to the world.

Note from the site editor: Thank you, Jennifer. Yes, let us do good to those around us so that they know what God's love really is. As you wrote, "...we allow God to work here on the earth and in the lives of those walking in the ways of the world." If God is love, then he will be working to help people and to help us love one another.
