Love is the Center

Above all else, I want you to love God and to love your neighbor as yourself. Everything else must come from this love. All else is secondary. Focus on love. There is no merit in being able to speak in tongues if you cannot love those around you. Many would like to heal as Christ did, but unless they begin with love, their quests will be fruitless. Those who constantly search to prove Me will find that ultimately they cannot, for I am not flesh and blood and do not depend on this universe in any way for my existence. Likewise, you cannot transcend into another dimension beyond the reality of your own world. That is why I ask you to love one another. This is your world, and your purpose here is to love others.

There are those who spend all their time trying to understand the future. Some try to understand the past, how I created the world. Whether you know or not and whether you think you know or not, this has no bearing on your salvation. While there is nothing wrong with study and a desire to understand, the focus of your life must not be on those things being studied but on love.

What does bear on your salvation is your love of God and the love you share, neither putting anyone above you or below you. This should be the focus of your life: love with a pure heart that brings about forgiveness, generosity, kindness and true caring for those around you. No matter what gifts you have or desire and no matter what knowledge you have, if you do not love, the significance of your gifts and knowledge pales.
