Its Career Week at Sunnydale High and Buffy is faced with the reality that she has no future apart from that of a Slayer. While Spike prepares a ritual to restore Drusilla's strength he sends a trio of deadly assassins after Buffy to keep her out of the way, one of whom attacks Buffy and Angel on their date at the ice rink.
Another apparent assassin attacks Angel after he wrests information out of Willy the Snitch who runs a vampire-friendly bar. The young woman locks Angel in a cage where the rising sun will eventually finish him off while she goes to find Buffy.
Buffy and the woman fight in Angel's apartment until Buffy asks the question: "Who are you?" to which she replies: "I am Kendra, the Vampire Slayer". Original airdate: November 17th 1997
