OUT OF MIND, OUT OF SIGHT
I think I speak for everyone here when I say huh? Buffy to Giles
Giles: Ill research all the possibilities, ghosts included. Xander, if youre not doing anything, would you like to help me?
Xander: What, theres homework now? When did that happen?
Buffy: Its all part of the glamorous world of vampire slaying.

Cordelia: People who think their problems are so huge craze me. Like the time I sort of ran over this girl with my bike, and it was the most traumatizing event of my life, and shes trying to make it all about HER leg! Like my pain meant nothing!

Cordelia: Being this popular is not just my right, but my responsibility, and I want you to know that I take it very seriously. (In her May Queen speech)

Giles: Do you know, I dont recall ever seeing you here (in the library) before.
Cordelia: Oh, no, I have a life.

Cordelia: I am, of course, having my dress specially made. Off-the-rack gives me hives.

Cordelia: Its awful to feel that lonely.
Buffy: Oh, so youve read something about that feeling?
Cordelia: Hey, you think Im never lonesome cause Im so cute and popular? I can be surrounded by people and be completely along. Its not like any of them really know me. I dont even know if they like me half the time. People just want to be in the popular zone. Sometimes when I talk, everyones so busy agreeing with me, they dont hear a word I say.
Buffy: If you feel so alone, why do you work so hard at being popular?
Cordelia: Well, it beats being alone all by yourself.
