Maintaing Thyroid Health
START: GET DIAGNOSED EARLY
CORRECT THE IMBALANCE PROMPTLY
Maintain thyroid balance:
TSH = 0.5-3.0, Free T3 = 300

Avoid too much or too little Iodine which causes changes in thyroid function
Avoid lingering depression & stress:
*stress management   
*T3/T4 Protocol    
*course of antidepressants, counseling & Psychotherapy if needed

Control Weight Through:
*mindful exercise
*low-fat/high-protein, serotonin enhancing diet (low in simple sugars)

Take antioxidants:   
*improve thyroid efficiency   
*protection from age-related brain damage  
*protect thyroid from autoimmune       
  reactions and damage   

Control Blood Pressure:
*high blood pressure causes vascular disease and accelerates cognitive impairment.

Control Cholesterol Levels:
*high cholesterol causes vascular disease.
*too-low cholesterol impairs cognition and causes depression,   suicide and violence.

Get support and understanding:   
*Family      
*Friends       
*Work
