The ELF has struck anti-environmental targets.  These corporate entities, which are seen to the biggest destroyers of our Home, Mother Earth.  The ELF has destroyed research labs; newly established cookie cutter boxes for those who would receive a reward for perpetuating the continued destruction of our ecosystem and enslaving or killing its inhabitants.

Recently they have attacked a luxury SUV dealership, burning the lots inventory.  I find this to be an appropriate and measured response considering that their slogan is if you build it, we will burn it. Viva the ELF!  Viva la Revolucion!

Lastly on our little sojourn into things to ponder, is the waste of public money spent for the Derby Concert.  As sort of a preface to this, let me begin by saying that I for one am really tired of wasted and mismanaged public funds.  I currently have to go to the library in order to go on-line.  This is a process which would deter even the most seasoned of people, myself included.  First it is the bums and the homeless which accost you for not only cigarettes and spare change but the wretched smell.  Then there is the spawn of the near illiterate which flock to the library to download the latest jpegs and mpegs from the latest musical sensation.  This is all courtesy of our tax dollar yours mine and any other poor sod who has a job.  I as a paying customer think I should have priority over children which are not mine who and am paying for their education. Then the bums they are just leech on an already overstressed system. I have to give up my terminal after 60 minutes of use to these people who are already getting their share of my time and money.

Now back to the original topic.  Baby-sitting the West End so that out of town visitors and those responsible for Derby madness ( people involved in working to allow this debauchery to go off) can navigate through the heart of the city unimpeded.  The idea was a great one with one major flaw; my tax dollar was used to pay for it.  Perhaps we shouldve suggested paying the residents and the targeted demographic of this failed lollipop sum of say $500.00 to stay home.  That wouldve got results, about as much as what we did pay for.  Regardless I am pissed and I want my money back.

Thats all for now.  See you next time.
