| Fossil Fuel means Death, Literally The product you are holding is created through the power of Fossil Fuels. Fossil Fuels are created through the decomposition of deceased animal matter in the soil. If you consider the amount of creatures that exist and have existed on earth we should always have an unlimited resource. Here comes the but, but not only do we dispose of our deceased in a manner that makes soil decomposition less capable, we also consume mass quantities that drain our reserves before we have a chance to replenish them. We are using a product that in theory will never run out. Sounds great, however, the use of this product destroys not only the inside of our earth, but the outside. Unfortunately, we don�t use our natural resources naturally. We process it, and add synthetic products to make it �more useful� for our needs. The way the products we created burn the fuel we synthesized releases unnatural substances in the atmosphere that destroys not only our lungs, plant life, water, but also our ozone. Everything that makes our lives livable is being destroyed. We are resourceful creatures, but we can only �fix� these problems to a degree, and some we cannot fix at all. At the rate we are making death capable, we will never run out of fossil fuels. Now being American means taking pride in our way of life. No matter how senseless, or how much other countries suffer, or in many cases make fun of us, we live how we were raised. Raised by the product marketers. There is no way to escape the reality that from birth we are trained to believe what these corporate greed mongers, and also the government who benefits from them, want us to believe. We learn from our parents who have been trained, from our schools who promote our country through government approved texts, and from our favorite mentor, the television who feeds us what we consider entertainment, but what really has become reflection of the American dream of life with product marketing in between ever-growing spans of product promoting we call commercials. We know no other way of life than to be totally reliant on pre-made products. If Y2k had occured, it would have been the best thing to happen to us, once you got past the mass murder and looting. We spend 1/3 of our time working completely useless jobs to make money to purchase products we don�t need. In the meantime, we have alienated ourselves from the very thing that makes us human, our bodies. Not only have we alienated ourselves from our humanity, we have alienated ourselves from the earth, each other, all other living entities, and our purpose in life. Not only have we alienated ourselves, but we are destroying ourselves. We are destroying our bodies, the earth, all other living entities, and our psyche. Let�s start with what people are most comfortable with and maintain our way of life, but through different means. There are natural ways to create energy that don�t drain our resources, destroy the earth, or jobs, and are more cost effective. To mention a few, Solar power, Hydro-electric, Wind, and Hemp production. G.W. wants to promote not only oil drilling in the North, but the creation of more oil refineries, and Nuclear power plants. Completely unnecessary means to prolong the lifespan of what will kill us all. Not that I care, as I tell most people who question my viewpoints, I�m anti-human. Most people don�t understand what I mean, let me clarify. I don�t believe humans are capable of reversing the damage that has been done. It is our nature to be destructive, we can�t have anything beautiful, and the sooner our species dies out the better. It is because of my beliefs that I decided not to procreate. My desire to have children led me to make exceptions, if I only had one then I would be reducing the population, or if I just had one for me and one for my spouse then I still would not be increasing population. More recently, I�ve entertained the notion of starting a farm. A place that would be free of unnatural elements. We would all do our share to produce a way of life that is as unobstructive to the earth as humans can get. On this farm people would have to apply to be a parent, just as those who wish to adopt do. Yes, some would deem unfit to become parents, but then they really shouldn�t be parents. Anyway, I�m getting sidetracked on a topic for another time. We were talking about fossil fuels. My point was personally I don�t care what happens to the earth, let everyone exploit it till it kills us all off but not before giving us a bevy of physical and mental conditions that makes life on earth a living hell. I can feel this way because not only do I not have children, but I hope to never succumb to the instinct to create more beings to destroy. I also plan to eventually live as naturally to the earth as I can, my moral slate is clean. Sure, it would be great if humans could actually care not just about themselves and the easy way of life with which we have grown accustomed. The idea of mass production is a grand scale of my farm ideal. Each person would do what they are best at. Of all products, there can only be one �best.� If the competition is eliminated would we lose our ability to continue creating the best product? Probably, because as history has proven, humans are not only greedy but lazy. This is why computers are so useful. Robot technology will eventually replace all need for humans, so we can sit on our ever-widening asses, watch our T.V. or play on our computers, further alienate ourselves from real society. What would it matter then if we were just brains hooked up to electrodes feeding us information to entertain us. What do we need reality for, we have virtual reality. Everything we ever fantasized about can be ours. Let�s not worry about the legistics of making this possible, someone else will figure it out. Don�t worry about maintaining human life, we are resourceful. Let�s just keep letting other people make decisions for us, it�s easy. So what if our lives have become meaningless, pointless, worthless, we have been raised not to care. So it�s decided then, were going to keep on destroying the earth. Wait, I mean destroying ourselves. I forgot, we don�t care about anything but ourselves. On with the rejuvenation of Nuclear power, I can�t wait to grow my tail, that�s if the tumors in my body don�t kill me first, eh but what are you gonna do. I�m sure someone will invent some product that makes my life tolerable or at least lets me forget how much pain I�m in physically, mentally, spiritually. to next article |
