Mission 2002 to Kalimantan

Although this web site has some serious criticism of various mission groups and methods, there are also some wonderful things happening -- without selling out to false doctrine, fabricated stories, and innovative methods of evangelism. 

The various groups that went out from Gepembri in Jakarta,  visited forty villages, preached the Gospel, baptized new believers, and dedicated two new church buildings. This wasn't work, it was pleasure!

Charismatic Cultism by Kevin Reeves There are those who claim to be the prophets of God, yet they "prophesy" a lot of things that never come true and teach things that contradict Scripture. Then there are those, like Kevin Reeves, who don't claim to be prophets, yet they faithfully proclaim the uncompromised Word of God. This is a link to an excellent article at the Deception In The Church website.

Also, the complete book, Lead Us Not Into Deception, by Dr. Alan Gomes of Talbot Theological Seminary. It is presently a very large pdf file, but it is worth the wait. At the end of the book is a large documentation section that proves the dishonesty of YWAM leaders and others holding the Moral Government Theology viewpoints who often deny or denied that they ever taught this stuff. "Must reading" for the "lover of truth and sound doctrine." Also, while at his website, check out the qualifications and other publications of Dr. Gomes. You will see that the common arguments "to the man" do not stick.
