Who are LifeBuilders?

We are the Men's Ministries of Montclair Tabernacle Church of God, located in Dumfries, VA. Our church is a member of the Church of God, Cleveland, TN. We are a Pentecostal Denomination, in existence since 1886. LifeBuilders is also the name of the Men's Ministries of our denomination.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring together the men of our church for fellowship, prayer, study, and training to equip them to be men of God, faithful husbands, loving fathers, and committed members of the church. We do this by monthly meetings, fellowship breakfasts, state and national LifeBuilders conferences, and by using resources of Promise Keepers, and in attending their local and national conferences.

The Seven Promises

1. A man and his God.- A Promise Keeper is committed to honoring Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, and obedience to God's Word in the power of the Holy Spirit.

2. A Man and his friends. - A Promise Keeper is committed to pursuing vital relationships with a few other men, understanding that he needs brothers to help him keep his promises.

3. A man and his integrity - A Promise Keeper is committed to practicing spiritual, moral, ethical, and sexual purity.

4. A man and his family - A Promise Keeper is committed to building strong marriages and families though love, protection, and biblical values.

5. A man and his church - A Promise Keeper is committed to supporting the mission of his church by honoring and praying for his pastor and by actively giving his time, and resources.

6. A man and his brothers - A Promise Keeper is committed to reaching beyond any racial and denominational barriers to demonstrate the power of biblical unity.

7 A man and his world - A Promise Keeper is committed to influencing his world, being obedient to the Great Commandment (Mark 12:30-31) and the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20).
