Each new day is a blessing from God, for his mercies are new everyday. We are given a choice each day when we wake up. Do I seek the face of God or go merrily on my way without a thought of prayer? Do I give thanks that I am physically able to get out of bed, to breathe without any medical devices, to open my eyes and see the sunshine or the rain?
Father God,
I come before you today to give you praise and thanksgiving for the love, joy, peace and health that you have blessed me with.
I believe in my heart and say with my mouth that this day the will of God is done in my life. I walk in a manner worthy of You Lord, fully pleasing to You and desiring to please you in all things, bearing fruit in every good work.
I roll my works upon You, Lord, and You make my thoughts agreeable to Your will, and so my plans are established and succeed. You direct my steps and make them sure.
I am rooted deep in love and founded securely on love knowing that You are on my side, and nothing is able to separate me from Your love, Father, which is in Christ Jesus my Lord. Thank you, Father, in Jesus' precious name.
