Pulle pulle : Green, green grass

Tamil:

"Kozhu kozhu kanre, kanrin thaaye,
Thaayai meikkum aaya,
Aayaavin kaikkole,
Kol valarntha marame,
Marathil irukkum kokke,
Kokkin vaay meene,
Meen valarntha kulame,
Kulathaichutri irukkum pulle,
Pullai meikkum kuthiraye,
En peyar enna?"
Kutharai: "EeEeeee..... !"

English:

The cow asked, "Hello wolf, dear sir
Who runs in grass among the fir
Which the horse eats, you can tell,
Near the bright round wishing well,
Where the little fishies stay,
Who were taken by the bird away,
Into the tallest tree,
Where the stick grew, can't you see?
Which the woman holds in her hand
Who drives and gently brands
My child the little calf
Tell me do you know but half,
What my name might be?"
And the wolf replied, "Cowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!"
