 |  A Child's Garden I planted myself a garden, a garden of the heart, I planted all the good things, that gave my children a head-start.  I turned them to the sunshine, and encouraged them to dream, fostering and nurturing the seeds of self-esteem... And when the winds and rain came, I protected them enough-- but not too much because I knew, they'd need to stand up strong and tough. I tried to set a good example, always taught them right from wrong-- markers for their journey, that will last a lifetime long.
