ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL ASPECTS

Travel agency partners will benefit from the project in a number of ways: Smoothing their demand by leveling the seasonal pattern effect to some extent, and increasing it by the introduction of alternative tourisms. SMEs will be encouraged by both broadening their business experience and horizons and having a growth chance for the future. They will also focus their activities on alternative tourism sectors; thus restructuring themselves in order to eliminate the major travel agencies acting on commission as intermediaries, ultimately replacing some of the inflexible and huge agencies with the SMEs.

Ministries of Tourism will reap the gains from this project on behalf of their countries and citizens. Balanced growth of the countries’ economies will bring wealth to enclave districts of relative pockets of poverty. Developing the countries’ tourism as a tax paying and employment creating sector, our project will enlarge the Gross Domestic Products of the countries of the Mediterranean.

Universities always need money to finance their educational and research-affiliated activities. Our project will serve as a sponsor tothese
institutions in the market researches to be performed. Besides, scientific research is a goal justifying and satisfying itself, i.e. a prospect per se.

The bank partner will basically undertake business by serving the project with a merchant credit card account; it will enhance the deposits retained and the cash flow since payments from several countries will accumulate there.

Information Technologies Consultancy firm partner will again earn profits from the project by supplying their services of computer hardware and software, Internet security and maintenance. These will also furnish the firm with hands-on job experience and market penetration strength.
