Currently, she stands at 15.3 hands, but is still growing a little bit, she's expected to mature at about 16.1 hands. A milk chocolate bay with no white markings at all. Rarely does she display uncertainty, or a lack of confidence, although she was rather neurotic upon her arrival at the facility. Rags to riches, hers should have been a Cinderella story. Kadusa has excellent bloodlines, filled with Affirmed and Seattle Slew, even War Admiral. The young thoroughbred was to be a star, but she was not fast enough for her owners. Perhaps it was because unless she got excited and the right buttons were pushed, she did not really care, except when it seemed there was enough glory in winning. She loved being around other horses, and could not be pushed beyond the center of the pack without a great deal of trouble. The filly was content to stay there, so they trained her as a companion to other racehorses. She was taught to lose, and so that was all she did.
Kadusa is very violent towards other horses, easily provoked, she has no idea what she is anymore, and cannot even trot straight, if you manage to get her on a lounge line or under the saddle, scuttling from side to side. It will take a very patient handler to get her back to what she was. With all her leaping over the fences, it is obvious she would make a good jumping prospect, she is still young even though Kadusa feels as if she's old.
It is doubtful that unless she had a handler and jockey that were amazing beyond belief that she would go back to her racing days. Kadusa is okay on halter sometimes if you bribe her, but if she gets annoyed with you, is very difficult. Steeplechasing and jumping could be her strong spots, if she was trained with time to let her muscles grow. She is fleet and springy as a deer.
