This mare should have probably been euthanized lifetimes ago. Reknown for her horrible temperment, she's referred to around the barn as the Hannibal Lector of the horse world -- tenacious even to those who handle her daily. After about 4 months, she rejects even her own foals, leaving them to grow up rather quickly. This, although harsh, actually helps the trainers quite a bit -- the confused baby adheres to training much more quickly then its peers.
