| On February 25, 2006, Bishop Malone reniged on his promise that he will not give any politician a platform in an election year in this diocese of Portland. Not only did he give politicians a platform, but he gave 100 % pro-abort politicians, Representative Driscoll and Duplessie a platform, sending a clear message that pro abort Democrat politicians have full reign to do anything they please within our Catholic facilities and demonstrating that the Catholic Church is Maine is in bed with Democratic Pro Abort Politicians. This is why the culture of Catholicism is dying here. There is nothing to distinguish it from the plethora of secular immorality that is an immense force in this state. The leadership of the Church of Maine is refusing to honor its committment to the laity who demonstrated for two years outside St. John's Catholic Church in Bangor following the trademark campaign related spaghetti supper sponsored by then Congressman John Baldacci in May of 2002. The Catholic Church leadership in Maine is refusing to stand up against the liberal, political, pro-abort mentaltity that is ruling our public institutions. The Catholic Church in Maine will loose its identiy as a Church if the laity does not take a stand. The Catholic Church in Maine will die as a political force. It will be reduced to the few apostles who follow the doctrinal teachings of its founder and saviour, Jesus Christ. |

| Be it hereby resolved that Revolutionaries For Positive Change will not let this happen to our beloved Catholic Church in Maine. We will do everything in our power to let it be known that we, as Catholic laity in this state do not approve, do not sanction the bedroom relationship between the liberal pro-abort mentality and our beloved Catholic Church in Maine. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Gov. Baldacci's Response To The Protest Bangor Daily News, Thursday, March 2, 2006: "I appreciate his (Bishop Malone) courage for standing up to the protesters to raise money for heating oil," Gov. John Baldacci said after the event. "It is about life and death," he said, pointing out that three people who had run out of heating oil had died early Tuesday in a fire in Limestone. |
