Hori published information on its "Tiny Bee" controller for Final Fantasy X-2. This weapon is as powerful as a regular Dual-Shock2 controller. There is also the vibration function that is featured in both pistols. As for the buttons, the triggers in both pistols will be the R1 and L1 buttons. Then there are some buttons on the side of the pistol which will make up for the other four buttons (square, circle, triangle and the 'x').
They also announced that they will release three kinds of Final Fantasy X-2 Memory Cards for PlayStation 2 on March 13, for 3800 yen each. Each one will have the picture of Yuna, Rikku or Paine on the surface.
Another Merchandise by Hori is the Final Fantasy X-2 PS2 Vertical Stand which will allow you to keep your PS2 upright. It is going to cost you 2980 yen.
Company Vorbesteller alongside PlayStation.co.jp are offering buyers of Final Fantasy X-2 a limited free keychain which can only be recieved if the game is booked in advance. In competition, Amazon.co.jp has offered Final Fantasy X-2 for 15% cheaper, thus lowering the price to 6,630 yen.
Corporatoin Di Magic has just released the REO Final Fantasy X-2 Limited Box which will be released alongside the actual game on March 13, 2003 for an approx. price of 22,200 Yen. From January 30th to March 3rd, the product can be reserved at any gaming or electronics store almost anywhere in Japan. There are 22,000 stores who accept the reservations.
With the reo box comes a head phone which has the Final Fantasy X-2 logo on it and a private mini-speaker called "Peanuts", which is supposedly like a trademark name of a series of speakers produced by Di Magic. Also some new technology has been placed into the headphones which will allow for extra crisp sound to come through.
It seems that the private mini-speaker is placed right on your controller and thats where you get all your sound from.
Bump Rest 2003 commenced. It is an event where goodies from both games, animes, and more are showcased to either buyers or suppliers. They are presented and promoted for their release in April/July. For Final Fantasy X-2, a picture clock was shown. There were many types including one of Rikku, one of Yuna, one of Paine, one of all three together, and finally a plain picture clock with just the Final Fantasy X-2 logo on it.
