Issei was created back in 2003 when David and Allan were first going through the ideas of having a group of guys with the same interests - cars. This team was formerly known as Team GeneRacer. Back in 2003, the members were Allan, David, and Rain. We sought for new members and came upon Mark. During 2004, Allan had switched schools, and introduced the guys to Raj, and for awhile Allan and Raj did not meet up with the rest of the team until 2005. In May of 2005, Team GeneRacer was transformed into Projek Issei. Within that same time span, Allan met Rey in one of his classes and saw he was reading a Super Street magazine. For that whole time period that we had together, we would always talk about cars. Allan had introduced Rey to the team along with his good friend Luke, and both were accepted into the team. Two months had passed and one day after school, Raj decided to introduce Allan to his good friend Darren with his Kouki S14, then we all became good friends. Darren was accepted into the team after he met with the others, and his younger brother Darnell was soon accepted as well. As Issei establishes a good base during 2005, we acquired new members in 2006. During the early year of 2006, Issei stumbled upon two new members. Raj and his classmate Ben had become good friends. Soon after Ben had sold his s10 for a prelude, he became a member of Issei. Allan met Derek in one of his mathematical classes and noticed his white E30. Same thing happened with Derek as it did with Rey, we talked about cars the whole period. After a few months, Allan decided to introduce Derek to the other guys in June 2006. We noticed he was into the racing scene just as much as we were. After a few weeks, we then invite Derek into the team, and he accepted. When Derek accepted, he had his best friend Mike brought to the team. We then accepted him to complete what we are right now. Since then we have been working on our cars as we always have been and hope to keep the strong establishment that we have made.
