FEED REQUIRMENT
Tiger is a carnivorous animal and its requirment is 2 to 3 %
of his body weight. Tiger�s main prey in the wild is Sambar, Wild boar, and
hog and deer and porcupine. Sometimes the prey is so large that it can�t eat
it alone, so he shares it with his family. In captivity great care should be
taken about the feeding of tigers. They can be feed with 3.6 to6.8 Kg of chicken
neck and back, diet of organ or muscle meat with supplementation of minerals.
Sometimes even 15 Kg of beef can be given. Tigers prefer milk and 1 liter of
milk should be given daily. Water requirement for the tiger is about 5 liter
approximately.
