| This, like every other musical venture, has become a project of Casey and Travis....then a band with a full time drummer.....then a friggin project again. Let's start from the beginning. It all started about 7 year ago when Travis Barksdale (Anniston High School) and Casey Rosamond (White Plains High School) both started attending Trinity Christian Academy on the same day. (scanning through the details) It didn't start off as a beautiful union right off the bat...in fact... Casey thought Travis was one of those weird non-social kids who killed people due to built up aggression, and Travis thought Casey was one of those fat non-social kids who killed people due to built up aggression...(skipping on)...The two met musically and started digging each other when Casey was starting to put a band together and he found out that Travis played bass. They started playing together and found out that their musical taste were similar yet different nonetheless (as it is today). They also decided they didn't like the control freak that played lead guitar either...'nuther story...they soon formed a cover band with Clint Morrow (bad ass drummer) and a gay guy singing (we never bent over to pick up our dropped picks after we found that out)...(skipping)...later on Travis decided (after Casey became a druggy) to venture onto a christian band later called PS-51. When Casey decided not to be a morinic addict anymore he decided to see Travis' new band play at the Annistonian. The band knew Casey played and soon invited him up to jam with them without any God-blessed preperation AT ALL......(calming down)......the foursome (Matt Martin, Phillip Hurst, Travis, and Casey) hit it off so Casey joind the christian venture (hey, he was a christian who had the gift of music...so why not)...(skipping)...Casey and Garren (drummer who later joind the band (now in Grounded)) were kicked out because they were too "heavy metal". Casey and Garren had become friends and decided to form their own band........they never hung out again........(skipping)......Travis went on to play with PS-51 with a new lineup. Phillip Hurst (a guy) Josh Turner (fretboard shredder) Travis (you know the story) Clint Morrow (like I said before, badass drummer) (skipping)....later down the road Casey decide to screw everyone else and start writing his own songs. Some of them sucked and some....sucked even more... Casey then propositioned Travis to play bass on a studio project. Travis agreed........heres where most of you joined us.......(skipping).....in order to have Travis play well on the album with little time wasted Casey wanted him to learn the songs before they went into the studio. Travis then realized that he like the stuff Casey was coming up with, therefore he proposed to join up with Casey and form a side band (not quit PS-51). The band was named by Travis. |

| ...was born. Most of you know what happened.....for those that don't.... Travis was about to get married to a lovely, kind, and giving person, therfore he didn't have time for both bands. Even though he had more fun in Awkward Sundays (most of the time) he had been with PS-51 for 3 years now. Awkward Sundays' last show was Febuary 22nd at the late great 1213.....(skipping).....Casey and Travis started jamming again after Travis got married and decided to not be stagnant (PS-51 wasn't doing anything) and form a project to pass the time, later that project would take shape...(skipping)...they decided to make the project into a reclusive (not avaliable to the public) band. The search for a drummer took place. after months of auditions with some good drummer and some really crappy drummers......they decided on one of the crappy ones. Dustin Fucking Steward (can you sense the hostility....later in the story...be patient were almost there). They decided to take it slow and start with a name....three weeks later... The Isaiah Evans Project was born. They decided to cut an album before gigging.... Abundance of Chairs (EP) was born. They finally decided to play live.... Dustin's "I don't give a shit about anything but me and my snooty girlfriend" attitude was born.... Then Travis and Casey's discust for Big 'ol Mr. Cocklover was born..... Travis and Casey decided to call on an old friend...Clint Morrow (The badass drummer) Clint accepted, they practiced once, Clint saved the day, everyone at the show really actually like the band, and they wanted Clint to join The Project full time, if it is conveinient for him and his new wife. And thats where we are now. I know it took a while, but now you know everything about our musical history..... so get off my fat wrinkly ass.......(skipping) |
