Link
Even in his youth, Link was already becoming the warrior who would carry the destiny of Hyrule (and many other lands) on his shoulders. His epic struggles against the forces of darkness are written in legend, and he is bound to the Princess Zelda and the archfiend Ganondorf by the awesome power of the Triforce.
Burdened with a shield, a heavy sword, and plenty of equipment, Link isn't a very mobile hero. Thus, he lacks the agility of Mario or Sonic. Nevertheless, he's skilled with the blade among other weapons such as the bow.
Link has appeared in many games since 1981. He has appeared in Link (NES), Link2 (NES), Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES), Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64), Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64) and Super Smash Bros. (N64). Link is also one of the many characters in Super Smash Bros. Melee (GCN)
In his newest outing, Link has once again returned to what many call his true form (a child). Furthermore, he has abandoned a realistic appearance in favor of a more light hearted cel shaded look.
Roleplaying Difficulty: Intermediate
Link is most commonly an inaudible character. Furthermore, he differs with his cartoon series counterpart, in that he is not smug or arrogant.
However, Link is a choice for moderate role-players in that there are boundaries for his character, but room for creativity as well.
