�The year is 2060. We as a people have moved forward in space travel, medical technology, entertainment, and more numerous fields than I can say. Yet, we have fallen back into slavery. These people persecuted as a new race to be made our kindness, and to be released from their bond of oppression.� said the new candidate for presidency.
The year as he stated is 2060. A �new� race of people has come about. In 2020 man took to the stars. In 2033 some men lived in space stations. In 2041 a resistance group tried to destroy earth. In 2051 they were defeated. Their children were legally aliens and turned into slaves for residency on earth. In 2058 a new resistance group was made. It fought for the slaves and a war broke out.
Many slaves like Grendyl were freed. Grendyl however was released by his captor by his will. He is now accompanied by his captor�s daughter Neko. His captors name is Mr. Black. He is trying to convert Grendyl. Grendyl however has seen so much bad no mater how hard he tries he can�t help but feel cheated by God. He has witnessed so much pain and suffering that he can�t release him-self from his personal bonds.
His goal is to find the light, only then can he be released from the darkness he has entwined him-self in. His darkness however is amplified every time he sees his brother. Nobody knows exactly how their mother died accept Grendyl who at 10 witnessed it. His brother holds him responsible for their mother�s death. Balin, Grendyl�s brother, was off to war when their mother died. Their father had died just weeks ago along with their sister when the when the earths army attacked their space station. A missile was shot from an earth earth�s cruiser hit the store they were in, killing them along with hundreds more.
Grendyl�s mother died when the army started raiding homes. They would break in, shoot first, and ask questions later. They shot his mother for no reason other than she was a space dweller. Those men received metals and received monetary rewards for killing 45,000 people. This war broke out because 20 people attacked earth. That�s less than a tenth of a percent of his people. He can�t let that go.
�When 20 people can trigger a holocaust we have reached the bottom. We have done an injustice on those space dwellers! We are now persecuting these people because these people, arms with sticks and stones, killed 3 troops that killed nearly 100 of them. They killed men, women, children, animals, and they even blew-up a hospital with a cruiser missile. Can this not be a day which will live on in the heart of all people? Can we move on? Can we release the intangible bonds we have bestowed upon these people? I am ashamed to have this holocaust on my soul. I do not want to rot in hell. I do not want to be known as �We� as a people, but �We as a people�. The time is now. For all of your sakes I hope you see it my way.� as congressman and hopefully the future president said in his speech. |
