September 11, 2001, is a day I'll remember for the rest of my life.

9/11 was one of the worst days in this nations history. Thousands of people died that day for no reason.

I think this was a day where the whole world cried...

The Oklahoma City bombing was a terrorist attack on April 19, 1995 aimed at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, a U.S. government office complex in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The attack claimed 168 lives and left over 800 injured. Until the September 11, 2001 attacks, it was the deadliest act of terrorism on U.S. soil.

What made this attack particulary sad was the fact that 19 of the victims were children, including fifteen who were in the America's Kids Day Care Center.

A photograph of firefighter Chris Fields emerging from the rubble with infant Baylee Almon, who later died in a nearby hospital, was reprinted worldwide and became a symbol of the tragedy.

Paris Hilton Released From Jail

A smiling Paris Hilton walked out of a Los Angeles County jail early Tuesday, officially ending a bizarre, three-week stay that ignited furious debate over celebrity treatment in the jail system.

The 26-year-old celebutante was greeted by an enormous gathering of cameras and reporters upon leaving the all-women's facility in Lynwood.

Did I read it right that Fox News broke in with a live feed to show her release? If so, that's just sad. It's hard enough to take Fox News seriously with Bill O'Reilly already. But this is just really adding to their credibility as a hard hitting news company.

Meanwhile, Iran is invading Iraq and engaging in acts of war against the United States and the British, yet no headline.

Props to the news anchor at MSNBC who refused to lead with Paris' release this morning. The anchor tore up or shredded the copy at least three times as her producers handed it to her. This whole fiasco reminds me of a time last week when I was at Joe Bologna's for lunch - MSNBC was showing the story of that pregnant woman who went missing and FOX News was showing non-stop Paris footage on the TVs on the other side of the room.

I'm really starting to like MSNBC. Not too much, but a little.

So this is her new image: wholesome, perky blonde instead of stupid spoiled whore.

What do you think her publicist was doing for three weeks, he wasn't just sitting around and scratching his ass, he invented a new persona for her to try on to keep her career stumbling along. Granted, I'd prefer 11-year-old girls to imitate the new Paris rather than the old one.

I do believe that picture is the first and last time we'll see Paris without make-up on. Without the makeup she's just another average girl. Not bad, but not great.

Maybe if she can do it, other spoiled little brats all over west LA who carry little dogs in their handbags, shop for $150 t-shirts on Montana Avenue and wear ridiculous sunglasses will grow the fuck up too.

Too bad she's going to go right back to skank mode.
