Pregnant woman accused of selling drugs in Mount Vernon

A 23-year-old seven-month pregnant woman is facing a serious drug charge after an anti-crime unit spotted her selling crack cocaine on a street corner.

But the drug buyer was able to scurry away before he could be captured, police said.

Judge tosses exposure charge against woman, law applies only to men

A Calif. judge dismissed an indecent exposure charge against a woman accused of disrobing in front of a 14-year-old boy, saying the law only applies to men.

Kids have it so easy today. I wish a woman exposed me to full frontal nudity when I was a 14-year-old boy.

One of my fondest 14-year-old memories was riding on a bus sitting next to a totally hot older woman with a tight green sweater and erect nipples. Good up-and-down and lateral movement; enough to mesmerize. I rode beyond my stop for several blocks, and had to walk back.

I saw a similar case years ago in which an indecent exposure was thrown out against a woman who sunbathed in the nude because the law as written said, "exposing one's sexual organs". The judge ruled that based on his understanding of human anatomy, a woman's sexual organs are internal and therefore she did not expose them.

The judge is a moron.

Masculine grammar is taditionally the norm in cases where the gender specified is not yet known/set. The law was written when it was proper to write it in the masculine gender generalized. It has nothing to do with the law being gender specific.

Personally, I'm all for any laws which allow more women to get naked. And I see no problem with how the law is currently structured, as long as the woman is good looking.

Yes it's a double standard.

But if it allows us to see more naked women then I am in complete support of it.



Mom jailed after son missed 71 of 100 school days defends parenting

A mother in Marion county, Fla., jailed after her son missed 71 out of 100 school days calls her punishment ridiculous and defended her parenting during an interview.

The missed school days landed her in front of a judge. As part of the truancy case, she was ordered to attend parenting and anger management classes and submit to a drug test.

She refused and a judge sentenced her to 30 days behind bars.

"I have a 16-year-old who legally quit school when he turned 16, the case should have been closed.

So if 16 is the age that you can choose to drop out of school, why did he go for 29 days out of 100?

If the kid did legally drop out of school, what was he doing there the other 29 days?

It is this kid's right to drop out of school.

Woman smoking while pumping gas ignites fire

A woman in Orange County, Fla. was injured when she ignited a fire while smoking a cigarette as she filled her car with gas.

Signs near the gas pump said "no smoking."

The woman will not be ticketed for the incident.
