Mexicans raise Mexican flag over U.S. post office in California

Mexicans at a rally took the American flag off of the flag pole stepped on it on the ground and mounted a Mexican flag at the United States Post Office.

Editor Comment: Removing the flag of the country in which the building resides and replacing it with the flag of another sovereign nation should be considered treason.

Maybe it's just symbolic, but it's saying, "This building belongs to Mexico. Fuck off, USA."

I hope those bottles and rocks can stop a fucking tank.

If you love Mexico so much... why did you leave?

The SW needs to man up and kick them back across the border.

Woman calls police; husband not fulfilling sexual obligations

Police in the German city of Aachen received an unusual call for help when a woman telephoned to complain her husband was not fulfilling his sexual obligations.

Editor Comment: He was fulfilling them, just not with her.

Someone never told her that a man's only sexual obligation is to himself.

Maybe she refused to mow the lawn. If she doesn't mow, he doesn't put out.

Here is an idea that might turn him on. Have dinner ready when he gets home!

Waitress shown own license when asking for ID

A waitress who asked a woman to show proof of age upon ordering a drink was shown her own license.

The waitress, a 22-year-old woman, had reported her wallet stolen from a bar on July 9. Her driver's license and credit card were in the wallet. The credit card had already been used for $1,000 in illicit purchases.

As the waitress called the police, the woman apparently got suspicious and took off. She was identified by a friend as Maria Bergan, 23.

Bergan was later arrested at her home.

Editor Comment: Did she get served? The article didn't make that clear.

A reader wrote, "If you're 23, why do you need to use a fake ID to get beer? Why not use her own ID".

If I were a thief, which I am not, and I was over 21, which I am, the reason why I would use someone else's ID at a bar is because I want to start a tab and pay for it with the stolen credit card.

I think the running after it was declined part sealed the deal.

Student busted for taking cop pictures

A Penn State college senior was arrested after he pointed his camera cell phone at police activity in his neighborhood.

The charge was based on a new law, allegedly prohibiting people from taking pictures of police officers with cell phones.

ACLU chapter, reportedly said, "There is no law that prevents people from taking pictures of what anybody can see on the street," adding that, "it's rather scary that in this country you could actually be taken down to police headquarters for taking a picture on your cell phone of activities that are clearly visible on the street."

Editor Comment: Stupid cop jumped the gun. He was supposed to wait until the next home-brew "terror attack", when the Constitution will be suspended.

There have been numerous documented cases of this happening nationwide in the past year.

You guys that are so sue happy - what are you basing a claim on?

1. There is a law on the books... evidently.
2. The police are enforcing the law.
3. Someone was arrested under the law.

Having this particular law invalidated on constitutional grounds is a very good idea. Suing the police for enforcing a law... not so much.

Wrongful arrest? I don't think so.

I'm less mad at the officers for enforcing this asinine law than I am at whatever legislative body thought it would be a good idea to ban people from documenting the actions of the government.

This is exactly why the ALCU is such a vital organization. When our government starts passing and enforcing laws prohibiting its citizens from documenting the activities of public officials and since private individuals typically lack the resolve or the resources to mount such a fight, an organization such as the ACLU is absolutely vital to the preservation of freedom.

Either we're all free or none of us are free. Chew on that next time you think about what's left of our 1st amendment.

Canada is looking better and better.
