README.WW5 October 12, 1998

Well here it is in all its glory! The documentation to WW5! It
took me three years of mostly off-again than on-again work to
complete this project. It started off as a way to save the
information from a manual that would eventually fall apart and
die. After putting this project on hold for about a year I
learned about Project64 and tried to start it again. I
stopped...then I started again after several months off. All I
can say is...you should try to sit down and type this manual out.
WOW! What a job!

I guess I should explain how I had to change some thing to work
with the etext version of the documentation. The WW5 manual was
filled with cute little graphic characters that represented the
keys of the C64 keyboard. Where you see upper-case letters
inside braces (e.g.,[CTRL D]), you are to hold down the first key
(in this case the CONTROL key) and press the second (in this
example the D).

Other things that would be good to know are:

-- The chapter numbers are the first character of the file name on
the documentation disk and the chapter name follows (e.g., 8MassMail).
-- Chapter 9: THE APPENDIXES and Chapter 10: INDEX are not included
in this work because:
--Chapter 9 included graphics of the font librariesthat I
could not reproduce in TEXT mode.
--Chapter 9 included a Trouble Shooting guide that I thought
was simply basic things you would do anyway(e.g., Screen is
	blank--Turn	on your $%&'$*@ monitor!
--Chapter 9 included a Pre-Call Checklist. Timeworks is
	out-of-business. DON'T CALL!!!!!
--Chapter 10 is an index to the manual not this etext. (I don't
know why I did the Table of Contents. It was the first section
that I did, and I guess I didn't think about it.)

Also, just so the legal stuff is said...Someone somewhere probably
has a copyright on this stuff so don't sell it!!!! Well I think
that's all.

Enjoy WW5!

Ray.
