USER
STORY #1: Rating #1.
Track the items in the store department so
that the store manager at a glance knows the exact quantity of each commodity
and accordingly she/he can inform the requisitioning department as well as to
the purchase department if any purchase is to be done.
USER STORY #2:
It is store department manager’s responsibility to
maintain the various levels of stocks (e. g.: buffer, reorder etc.). If the
stock falls below any defined level
The
software should flash a warning message to her/him about the status of the
stock. This will also depend on the time lag of the purchase activity.
USER STORY #3:
At the end of the day, the
software should be able to update the inventory by keeping the track record of
each item issued to all the departments. It should be able to calculate the
cost department wise also.
USER STORY #4:
At each stock level the software should be able to calculate the repurchase level (Whether it should be the minimum repurchase/ maximum repurchase level) thus
constantly
displaying repurchase quantity of each item.
USERS
STORY # 5:
It
should also check status of stock of each item. If it is equal to ore less than
reorder level that it should p[lace order to buy that item, in optimum size, to
the vendor who supplies it. Reorder level should be updat5ed every week
depending upon expected demand in coming week and lead-time of vendor who
supplies that item.

1. 5.1 Check

should keep records of the demands for any particular item made in the last en
proceeding weeks for that item. This record should be used for future analysis
of demands. This record should be updated every seventh day.

3. 6.1 Whenever
the requisition come for a particular item then
the stock database should be decremented and demand
database should be incremented.
USERS STORY # 7:
Software
should calculate optimum size of order on basis of lead-time and price breaks
(if offered) so that hotel could maintain its 95% service level. (We are
assuming that the hotel maintains a service level of 95%).

USERS STORY # 8:
Software
should also be able to place order directly to authorized vendor through E-mail
or any other media as deemed to be appropriate.
