The Following is a List of other Mass Media Arts Graduates who were part of the Mass Media Arts Symposium in previous years.


Tiffany Aleander

Graduated from Hampton University in 1997. She worked at the Virginia-Pilot in Norfolk as a campus correspondent.She recieved scholarships from The Dow Jones Newspaper Fund Scholarship and The Hampton Roads Black Media Professionals Echoes of Excellence Scholarship. In 1998, she took a position as a copy editor on th regional desk at the Plain Dealer in Cleveland.

Mia Bailey

Graduated from Hampton University in 1990. She works as an Editorial Assistant at The Daily Press in Newport News VA.

Todd Bell

Graduated from Hampton University in 1998 from the Department of Mass Media Arts. While at Hampton he worked on-airat WHOV where he earned the station's highest award, The Golden Microphone. Bell began work with WOW! as a part-time announcer also hosted the station's QUIET Stormprogram.

Kisha D. Desandies

Graduated from Hampton University in 1997. She served as the campus news editor for the Hampton Script. She also worked at WHOV as news director and as an on-air personality at the station. She now work for a D.C.-area busines consulting firm, StrategicCommunications Group.

Cynthia Dinkins

Graduated from Hampton University in 1981. She is cofounder and Chief Operating Officer of Foxworth and Dinkins, Inc. She serves as Executive Director for the T. Howard Foundation.

Donya"Blaze"Floyd

Graduated from Hampton in 1999 from the Mass Media Arts Department. She worked with the Hampton Script, HU Viewpoint, The Student Government, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. In 1998 she was voted Best New Announcer. She started working for WOW!-FM 103Jamz in Norfolk in 1999. In October 1999 she was promoted to midday announcer.

Alice McNeil

Graduated from Hampton in 1991 from the Mass Media Arts Department. She is Manager of Sales Planning at FOX Family Worldwide in New York,NY.

Nafari Morris

Graduated from Hampton in 1999 from the Mass Media Arts Department. Her focus was Pubic relations. She is currently copy editor and contributing staff writer at the Wilmington Morning Star/Star News in Wilmington, N.C.

Tashwanda Pinchback

Graduated from HU in 1998 from the Mass Media Arts Department with a focus in Public Relations. She works as Account Executive at Grizzard Advertising on The Salvation Army Account Team.
