What is the plan.I have gotten an old fender rhodes mark II. The thing sounds great, but some tips need to be replaced. After browsing through internet i saw a modified rhodes and decided to make my own modification. This is the picture i bumped in

So i am makin a though decision wheather i shoul modifie it like this or shall i use blue color, or just make a new maple wooden top. This is how i have given my rhodes a-part, and cleaned it

and here we go, Part one

my rhodes piano before getting new clothes.

I've bought red tolex in a local clothing and textiles shop.On the right you can see my set of tools

putting the rhodes a - part . Picking everything out of the wooden box.

this is what i found in the box, the complete set on the right, although i didn't know why i have taken out the keys, i realized that they don't need to be taken out, so later i'we putted them back into the frame, which you can see infront of them.

and the empty box

The way of no return....taking the tolex off the box

measuring out the fabrics, with the original and cutting them out.

same with the sides

finished side A

and side B

the top and the bottom, all in one, and on the right, puttingback the legs, screws and all that goes with it.

at the back i helped myself at putting back the lid holders with the lid.

and the finished rhodes, now part 2 the lid = cover.

part 2

back to my main
