There are a lot of pretty actresses but ths one is mostly unknown, unless you saw a controversial drama from 1994 (released in 1997) called "Lolita".
It was also a movie in the 60's directed by Stanley Kubrick
(a great director BTW though I never saw the movie)
and was originally a classic novel written by Vladimir Nabakov.
Dominique Swain is very sexy, as well as being child-like in the film, as the man Humbert (Jeremy Irons) falls for 14 year old Lolita so he marries her mom, an annoying widow,
she dies to his secret delight, and he...does what he wished with Lolita, she uses his desires to get money, snacks, and a cross country trip, but Lolita got tired of Humbert and falls for an even more perverted man, Quilty.
Humbert never knew about Quilty so he found Lolita at her new home a couple years afterwards, she left Quilty and got married to a respectable man, Humbert asked her if she could leave her husband and live the way they did, she said no, so he asked for Quilty's name, she gave it to him and he left.
Humbert went to Quilty's home, and brutally killed him, he ran from the cops and died in prison, Lolita, pregnant died while giving birth at the same time as his death, she died from a broken heart.
I recommend that movie to anyone who likes off-beat movies and similar things, but of course the highlight was the main girl.
The other movies I saw Dominique in are called "Girl", and "Dead In The Water" they were okay but not great, and then "Tart" was alright, and so was "The Smokers".
Most of her movies are low budget, often she is the only reason to see a movie that stars her. Most of her costars are unattractive and untalented, but Miss Swain looks fine, and she might do something weird like act like she has a nervous breakdown and act normal the next minute, and for instance she also plays John Travolta's daughter in the already excellent movie Face/Off.
I heard she was in a fighting scene with another girl
(in the movie "Mean People Suck")
and went overboard, fighting too fiercely, they had to pry her off the other girl.
Also cool was the highlight in "Girl", in which she and
(pretty actress and real-life friend of Swain's)
Tara Reid share a deep kiss. :-)
Well here's a website about Miss Swain and another website about the movie "Lolita".
