A: First you need to register at Digimarc and get your ID#. The embedding process can be done with Photoshop under the "filters" menu. If you don't have Photoshop, Digimarc can help.

Spidering services can be pricey. As long as you can provide the original Program file ( such as a Photoshop PSD file) then you are protected. Nothing is better proof that that. If it becomes a court case, the thief will lose.

A: For the web I have bought many programs, including Adobe Photoshop 5.5 (graphics), Adobe Illustrator 8.0 (some cool ideas) and Adobe Image Ready 2.0 (compression and optimization) and Flash 4 (flash animation). I also use Microsoft Front Page 2000 (HTML). The code gets a little messy so I always clean it up in program called Arcahnophilia. I highly recommend doing this to make sure you're and viewers understands your clean coding.
