Earth Agenda and Policy Response
Write an essay as part of an imaginary time capsule. Assume that your essay will be read by students in a future public policy class. Use Lester Brown, Plan B 2.0 to compose your Earth Agenda and Policy Response essay.

The essay explains the current world situation as you understand it through having studied Brown's Plan B 2.0. Tell the future public policy student what you have forecast in terms of the social and environmental situation that their generation is likely to confront and what policies should be pursued as a remedy.

No doubt, one of the largest portions of my essay will be devoted to peak oil. But how much should I focus on this one, potentially history-changing, topic?

I take that back...it won't be potentially history-changing. It WILL be history-changine. Hopefully, in a good way.

Chris, link oil to climate change and food, such as the emerging competition of ethanol to grain, which Brown has pioneered. Oil, ie fossil fuel, is central. Food could be, so could climate change. Less so water, but perhaps.

Good question. Thanks.
