So we talked about the thumb, index, and middle fingers, now lets finish up with the third (ring) finger and the little (pinky) finger.
The third finger is called The Finger of Apollo, however another source says the Finger of Venus. But since the Apollo reference is from a more larger and comprehensive book, I am going with Apollo. This finger has always been associated with the Sun. It signifies you level of creative and emotions energy. A short Finger of Apollo (reaching above the middle finger nail bed) says that you dont fear showing your feelings. Caring for someone makes your world safe and desirable. A long Finger of Apollo means you need to check your account balance for your eyes are bigger than your bank account. You are willing to work hard to make relationships strong and lasting. An average Finger of Apollo (slightly longer than your index finger), you crave recognition and approval. You take pleasure in money and the things you can buy. You communicate well with color, fashion and visual things. You like crowds, sharing your thoughts and being in the limelight. |

The little finger is called the Finger of Mercury and deals with how you communicate and learn.
A long Finger of mercury (a little finger that reaches above the ring finger top knuckle), reveals that you think big and talk well. Optimistic and adventuresome, your enthusiasm is contagious. You learn quickly and demonstrate an eagerness to get things done. Long fingers make for fine speakers, singers, and musicians. You may have more ideas than you realize for changing social values and inspiring others. Follow your heart.
Now lets talk about mounts. The Mount of Venus, which is the fleshy lump at the root of the thumb and as the name implies, this area is related to love. If high this mount is more pronounced, the greater capacity for love. The Mount of the Moon, which is directly opposite of Venus on the hand, represents more otherworldly realms, like imagination, idealism, romance, and spirituality. An enlarged mount expresses a dreamy character.
The mounts under each finger encompasses the attributes of that finger; a large Mount of Jupiter denotes an independent, forceful attitude towards career; a large Mount of Saturn reveals a serious nature, a smaller one says you are not as serious; a larger pronounced Mount of Apollo shows a warm and relax character along with a strong disposition to take center stage; The Mount of Mercury shows mental energy. |
