Now remember, when we are talking about "symbols" in dreams, we are talking about something that played a big part in your dream. I remember a dream I had when I was young, I was in a school gymnasiums. I was sitting in the bleachers, and talking to some other kids, and on the gymnasium floor where a bunch of people, mostly girls, wearing these bright pink knee-high boots�other things happened in the dream, but the boots stuck out in my mind. So the boots and the color pink were symbols. So let's talk about nudity and clothing, clothes can express personality or hide imperfections. The colors of you dream clothes can symbolize your moods. If the clothes you wear are tattered, then you may need to discard your worn-out attitudes and habits. You may want to redesign yourself and establish a new self-image. A dream of changing clothes may indicate a change of lifestyle.
Nudity can represent the dreamer's spiritual nature, or the authentic "self". It can also mean vulnerability, a desire to shed defenses, a freedom from shame, and a love of truth.
To accept someone else's nudity in a dream can be the dreamer's ability to see through their defenses and accept them for what they really are. To be disgusted by someone else's nudity suggests anxiety, disappointment, or disgust at discovering their real nature.
Nudity in children is sometimes associated with archetypal Divine Child; nudity in the young usually represents innocence, but can also stand for mischief.
To dream of being naked in a public place, among other people who are unconcerned about the fact, or oblivious to it, usually indicates that we should discard as groundless any fears that we will be rejected if our real self is revealed. |

If you are wearing heavy armor, or a lot of heavy clothing indicates that you are being over defensive in your life. The dream may be indicating that with more self-confidence, openness, and social ease you won't need so much "protection" from the outside world. Ask yourself what are you protecting yourself from? Is it an inner fear? The dream of wearing armor could also indicate you are preparing yourself to do battle. Armor may represent the fact that you are confident and well prepared.
Over-tight clothes or constricting clothes usually indicate that you are inhibited or restricted by your public or professions role. You may feel constrained in a relationship, held back in school, or restricted in some form.
A cloak can stand for criminal concealment and secrecy, for mystery and the occult or for protection and warmth and love.
Being ashamed of being in your underwear, in dreams, can indicate an unwillingness to have certain attitudes made public.
Hats, changing hats may indicate a change of attitude or direction. You may be thinking about taking on new work or even changing something. The type of hat is also important, a top hat may mean your desire for wealth, a baseball hat may mean your desire to be more athletic or younger, a straw hat may show that you want to adopt a more natural, carefree attitude. |

Uniform, wearing a uniform may mean you are too conservative. You are living your life in an overly regimental manner. Perhaps you are conforming too much. Alternatively, you may feel a need to fit in and be less individualistic. Other's in uniform may represent authority, or someone you know who fits into the description above.
A veil conceals. Are you trying to hide something? Perhaps you are afraid to express part of your personality? Try to decide what is being hidden. |

Color can evoke strong emotional responses, and the colors revealed in dreams can tell a great deal about emotional states. They can tell us a lot of things, but meanings can vary from individual to individual, and you may have your own personal associations with a particular color. As with all dream interpretation, trust your own gut feelings. Traditionally, gold and silver stand for the sun and moon, masculine and feminine, day and night. Carl Jung felt these two colors represented the conscious and unconscious levels of the mind.
Red represents passion and sexuality. It can also mean anger or blood, it is the color of life force. The mystical meaning is sensuality. |

Yellow is often associated with artistic inspiration, yellow is sometimes considered the color of the coward. Mystical meaning is inspiration. In Chinese symbol systems yellow was sacred to the Emperor, and in dreams this color can represent the wise use of authority and power. (It is also the color of Buddhist monks - which can represent humility and importance to service.) |

Purple is the color of royalty and profound spiritual knowledge. Mystical meaning is clairvoyance. |

Blue is the spiritual color, the color healers have in their auric field. Blue brings harmony and like the sky, it implies freedom. It can also mean depression. The mystical meaning of blue is healing. |

Green is the color of nature, new life, and hope. Its negative association is with jealousy. Mystical meaning of green is recovery. |

Black usually the color associated with depression. Time to get rid of those "black" thoughts. It may also mean unconsciousness. Mystical meaning for black is illness. |
