Here were our pregnancy symptoms and side effects....

I was very affectionate w/ DH. :-) I was also
short-tempered. :-( My breasts were so sore, and AF didn't show up. (jms0622) awful acid reflux that wouldn't go away until I got a prescription for Zantac. (fairy9272) Watch your blood pressure. Watch for excessive swelling at an early
stage. I had Preeclampsia with both and premature labor. Learn about Braxton Hicks starting in the 26 week and ask lots of questions about REAL contractions and the BHs. (ozip) I was lucky I had very few disagreeable symptoms.
First pregnancy (boy) nothing, 2nd (girl) mild nausea for about a week, 3rd (boy) painful hips for the last month (_karen) I got heartburn @ about 4 months and it increased in time. And i was almost always exhausted. I got very
weak and nauseated around raunchy smells. (heidi_hibbit) The first thing that I remember feeling was very sore breasts. My abdomen got very hard. My sore breasts never went away until delivery. Cold, pregnant breasts are even
sorer. Sometimes when the baby starts to kick and you can feel it, you will feel like you are just a punching bag and ache all over. Walking gets very difficult because of the weight and the balance being thrown off. The best side effect was
having the baby to cuddle. (ruth_73) very few symptoms but I had some swelling in my ankles and hands, and pain along my sides at about rib cage height until things started dropping. (startoestudio) I knew that I
was pregnant when I started gagging when I tried to brush my teeth. This was even before a positive HPT. I also had a terrible time with my lower back, morning sickness, very sore breasts, some menstrual-like cramping early on, and became
tired very easily. (jacobsmomee) Morning Sickness--Luckily I had it easy on the morning sickness. I felt sick every morning (until I got some food on it) but never threw up. It always seemed a little better if I kept just a little food
in my stomach...don't let it get empty! Sciatica-- I had those pains shooting down the lower back to the back of the thighs from about 4 months on. Not much seemed to help it except when it really flared up, resting it and using a heating pad.
The joys! :) Swollen Ankles--Ok, if you get these, take care of it right away because it can get really bad and really painful! Drown yourself by drinking gallons of water and get those feet up each day for even a half hour. My ankles swelled
the most after I had been on my feet and doing lots of walking for several days in a row. (bailey3) Blood pressure high at end cause fetal stress and she inhaled meciunom (anise1234)
